Health promotion and education are key functions of the
Victorian Continence Resource Centre.
Community Group Presentations
The Victorian Continence Resource Centre has professional
staff available to present to your organisation or community group. We
regularly speak to community groups and can tailor the presentation to your
specific needs. Topic usually covered in the presentation include:
- What
are bladder and bowel control problems
- Who
is affected
- Healthy
bladder and bowel habits to prevent and treat problems
- Where
to seek help
These sessions are
provided free of charge for the majority of community groups. Donations are
gladly accepted to assist us extend our services.

Culturally &
Linguistically Diverse Groups (CALD)
We regularly
present to CALD groups. We arrange a professional health interpreter for
presentations to CALD groups.
Education and Training for Health Care Professions and
Personal Care Assistants
The Victorian Continence Resource Centre presents continence
training programs for health professionals (including nurses, physiotherapists,
occupational therapist, pharmacists and doctors) and allied health and personal
care assistants.
The program can be tailored to your requirements. Here are
