    Contact is the newsletter of the Victorian Continence Resource Centre. It is published four times a year - in March, June, September, December.

    We are always on the lookout for interesting articles. If you wish to contribute an article, the information needs to be at the Resource Centre by the 15th of the month preceding publication.

    Newsletter 48 Presidents Report December 2005: The new committee is well under way, subcommittees established. The Continence Awareness Week subcommittee has commenced preparations for the Run Or Bust fun run in 2006. The Education Subcommittee is planning educational sessions for metropolitan and rural areas and a date has been elected for the CFA Vic Branch Annual General Meeting which will be Monday 4 September.
    Newsletter 47 Presidents report 2005: The CFA (Vic) Branch has had another busy and productive year. The outgoing committee are: Rachel Barton, Steven Marburg, Stephen Denton, Ingrid Mitton,
    Dee Greenwood, and Bob Thornton.
    We had resignations during the year from Louise Kurczycki, Irene Kenna and Nina Vucic and I thank them very much for their effort and hard work they have given to the organisation during their time on the committee.
    Newsletter 46 Continence Awareness Week is just about upon us. This year the CFA Vic Branch has a number of activities planned to raise public awareness about bladder and bowel control problems, how to prevent them and if they occur where to seek help.
    Newsletter 45 Vice-President’s Report: In the last newsletter members would have read of Louise Kurczycki’s resignation as President.
    The Committee of Management would like to thank Louise for her dedication and commitment to the Branch over the last couple of years and wish her well for the future. As a new member on
    the Committee, I had hoped to learn from Louise’s experience and professionalism. Nevertheless, the Committee of Management looks forward to the busy year ahead.
    Newsletter 44 It is hard to believe that Christmas is almost upon us and yet another year is over. I have only adjusted to writing 2004!! As many of you will know, I was recently appointed President of the
    CFA (Vic), so it is with much regret that I inform you that I will be stepping down from this position as well as from the committee.
    There are many new and exciting developments that will unfold over the coming months and 2005 should shape up to be a very busy time.
      The Newsletter this time coincides with the AGM on 14 September. But before that I wish to advise you of Colin Cassells’ resignation from the position of Coordinator of the Victorian Continence Resource Centre.
    Colin has held the position for over four years. He has been committed to the work of the VCRC and the CFA Victorian Branch. The Committee of Management wish to thank him for the contribution he has made to getting the continence promotion message out to the wider community. We thank him for the
    support that he has given to all Committee Members and CFA members over the last few years.
    Newsletter 42 Continence Awareness week (CAW) is just around the corner with the theme this year of “Don’t let incontinence hold you back”. This is an important message for the community to hear; so many people limit what they do rather than getting the help they need.
