Incontinence can affect all people, regardless of what country they are from, age and gender. It is estimated that approximately 26% of Australians or 1 in 4 are affected by some form of incontinence.

People born in countries other than Australia make up almost a quarter (24%) of the population in Victoria (ABS Census 2006)

In order to raise awareness of incontinence prevention and management among people from culturally and linguistically diverse communites, particularly non-English speaking backgrounds, a range of information and programs are available.
